We recommend you enter organic waste headed to an anaerobic digester as “compost” so that it will be counted towards your diversion rate (ex: Food Scraps - Composted). If you want to track all your anaerobic digester waste, change the name of the “meter” to something like “Anaerobic Digester.”
If you enter this as compost then it will be counted toward your Diversion Rate. If you enter it as "disposed trash" you will be asked about the Disposal Destination, where you could pick “Waste to Energy.” Waste to Energy is not included in your Diversion rate.
