What’s the difference between regular and intermittent collections?

When you enter a waste material to track, you are asked how often it is collected:

  • Regularly – is for the things that are picked up daily, weekly, or monthly. You probably have a contract in place for a waste hauler to regularly pick up waste like trash, recycling, and cardboard.
  • Intermittently – is an irregular or one-time only event. It’s for collections that do not take place according to a set schedule (like a one-time donation of your old office furniture).
