Here are the use details and default values for the Hospital (General Medical & Surgical) property use type:

Required for a Score:
Gross Floor Area
The Hospital property type should include all space types owned by the hospital that are located within the Hospital campus, including non-clinical spaces such as administrative offices, food service, retail, hotels, and power plants.

Gross Floor Area (GFA) should include all space within the building(s) on the campus including operating rooms, bedrooms, emergency treatment areas, medical offices, exam rooms, laboratories, lobbies, atriums, cafeterias, restrooms, stairways, corridors connecting buildings, storage areas, and elevator shafts. (Minimum to receive a score: 20,000 sq. ft.) See also How do I benchmark a hospital property?

There is no default value for Gross Floor Area.
 
Number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Workers
The number of full-time equivalent workers should be computed as the total number of hours worked by all employees in a week divided by the standard hours worked by one full-time employee in a week. (Minimum to receive a score: 1) See also How do I determine Number of Workers?

Default Value = 2.6 FTE Workers per 1,000 square feet (92.8 square meters)
 
Number of Staffed Beds
The number of beds set up and staffed for use by inpatients.  Excludes newborn bassinets, labor room, post anesthesia, or postoperative recovery room beds, psychiatric holding beds, and beds that are used only as holding facilities for patients prior to their transfer to another hospital. (Minimum to receive a score: 1)

Default Value = 0.46 Staffed Beds per 1,000 square feet (92.8 square meters)
 
Number of MRI Machines
The number of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines permanently on-site.  Excludes MRI machines accessed by the hospital from mobile trailers.  Do not include other imaging equipment (X-ray, CT Scan, etc.) in this total.

Default Value = 1 MRI Machine
