What does the GET audit information return?

The audit information that is returned from the GET calls on most entities (i.e., property, meter, property use, etc.) provides helpful information but can also cause confusion when you compare it to the information that is returned from the “Get What Changed” web services.  The following lists the fields that update the audit information for each entity.  We will be updating the audit information for each entity so that it accurately reflects any change performed to it.
  • GET property - Audit information tracks changes to the following fields:
    • Name
    • Number of physical buildings considered part of the property
    • Self-selected property type
    • Construction status
    • Street address
    • City/Municipality
    • County
    • State/Province
    • Postal code
    • Self-reported GFA value, unit of measure, or whether it's a temporary value
    • Year built
    • Energy metering configuration
    • Water metering configuration
    • Occupancy
    • Federal property indicator and any agency identification or federal campus
    • Design target type and value
    • Energy baseline date
    • Water baseline date
    • Performance target type and value
    • Weather station
    • Irrigated area, unit of measure, or whether it’s a temporary value
    • Property's photo
    • Electric distribution utility
    • Power generation plant
    • Institutional indicator (for Canadian properties)
    • Property notes
  • GET meter - Audit information tracks changes to the following fields:
    • Name
    • Unit of measure
    • Date meter became active
    • In-use
    • Date meter became inactive
    • Aggregate meter indicator
    • Container size (for waste meters)
    • Special event indicator (for waste meters)
