There are many organizations that electronically enter your utility data into Portfolio Manager. They do this using software tools called Web Services where they “exchange data” between their databases and Portfolio Manager.

Utilities. In addition to your regular paper bill, you may be able to get your energy (and/or water) data from your utility in either a direct update into your Portfolio Manager account (Web Services) or spreadsheet format. This service, if offered, is generally free. See:

- If you don't see your utility listed above, check if your utility offers this service on this interactive map interactive map or on our List of Utilities offering Aggregate Data. Some utilities even offer aggregated whole building data. These options can save you a lot of time spent gathering and inputting data each year.
- Service providers. Service and product providers (SPPs) integrate this service into their own software and value-added offerings (see list here). This is more of a "full-service" offering, but it is not free.
