The "ENERGY STAR Score Preview for Model Updates" metric provides a “preview” of what a property’s new score will be based on an upcoming update (usually an update to the property type’s score model). The purpose is to provide stakeholders with a sense of how their score will change based on the model update, so that they can plan for those changes and/or provide feedback to EPA on the new score model. The Score Preview will only show for property types that are currently undergoing a score update. All others will show “N/A.” Currently, it only returns "N/A".
You can find the ENERGY STAR Score Preview in the Metrics list under the "Energy Performance Metrics" tab.
There are 3 ways to see your Score Preview (you''ll want to compare the "ENERGY STAR Score" with the "ENERGY STAR Score Preview for Model Updates"):
1. Add the Score Preview to a Custom Report .
2. Create a "Dashboard View" on your My Portfolio Page
3. If you only have 1 property that has a Score Preview, its probably easiest to select this metrics on the Summary tab chart.
The Convenience Store was the first score model to utilize the Score Preview. It was released as a preview score on Jan 10, 2023 and final score on March 21, 2023.
